You may use this search to find a basic description of museum collections of Japanese materials. Just clicking on SEARCH will bring up an alphabetical list of all the museum collections reported to the study, with a very brief description of their contents. Optionally, you may limit your search to a particular institution, or to museum collections in a particular region or a specific state or province. After you have made your selections, click on the SEARCH button to bring up the list of results, which will include the name of the museum collections, its location, and a description of the collection. Click PRINT to print the criteria and the resulting list.

From the list that appears, click on the name of the institution to bring up the full directory entry for that institution in pdf format, but there is no additional information about the museum collection. You may print or download the pdf file using your browser tools.
